A number of influential billionaires who previously publicly expressed their disdain for Donald Trump have now apparently changed their minds. Growing frustration over Joe Biden's economic and immigration policies, or indignation over his handling of the Israel-Gaza War, has lengthened the list of billionaires now signaling they support the former president.

It might help a little that Trump knows what it’s like to be one. And the others can see how the elites treat one.
Yup. But some are not scared. They just seem to care. Musk appears to one of the latter. Doubt he’s scared of much. Oh yeah he could buy and sell most other billionaires with what for him is pocket change.
He’s always had some of these billionaires in his corner. Steve Wynn for example. Or Mrs. Adelson who’s one of those listed. She supported him in 2020. Or Robert Bigelow. It appears they are looking for promises in exchange for support.
Last go around T had two important B’s - Richard DeVos (Amway) who brought Betsy DeVos with him and was quietly influential but now deceased, and Ken Langone. I don’t believe Langone is on board.
I see no such appearance.
You wouldn’t if it involved Trump. If the shoe was on the other foot, there would be all kinds of cries of quid pro quo. Billionaire support s never free. If Trump is elected, which I can’t see as we all know it’s rigged, let’s watch to see what preferential legislation or contracts these folks get.

indeed ... and one of the biggest things that they’re scared of has naturally been omitted by newsweak, namely that the national socialist fascists have seized the levers of the Republic and now no one is safe from arbitrary destruction, regardless of their wealth ... in other words, EVERYONE is a peasant in the Democrats fascist society except those very few governmental officials at the very pinnacle of said fascistic government ...
it took a while, but even many of the extremely wealthy woke up one morning and realized that a lawful Republic will be gone forever if Trump isn’t elected ... hopefully, there’s enough of the rest of us who vote who also realize these same things, or at least enough who have been driven into desperate penury by the failed economic policies of the fascists and have had enough to vote against the fascists ...
if Trump isn’t elected, even Musk isn’t safe ... if Musk refuses to capitulate to the fascists, they can cancel all of his space contracts, declare Tesla an illegal EV monopoly and break it up, and put X/twitter out of business via a thousand bogus Federal lawsuits ... and if that doesn’t work, they’ll plant evidence on him and allege hundreds of crimes, and if that doesn’t work, they’ll simply kill him ...

i want promises for my support too: I want the border wall completed and the border totally secure; i want a strong military; i want to drill, baby, drill; i want no more foreign wars with zero strategic value; i want the Deep State totally exposed and totally destroyed, including prosecution of illegal activities and punishment if convicted; i want a nation of laws; i want law and order; i want rampant crime stopped; i want inflation stopped; i want commerce free of destructive regulations; i want taxes lowered; i want the Fed attacks on the 2nd amendment halted, i want illegal aliens deported; i want all expenditures supporting illegal aliens halted, including free healthcare, free food, free shelter, and free phones; i want traitors and enemies of the state prosecuted and punished if convicted; i want all student loans paid back; i want all CAFE standards revoked; i want all EPA carbon standards revoked; i want the truth about COVID, mRNA vaccines, the efficacy of Ivermectin, and the persecution of dissenting medical personnel exposed and halted; i want all J6 prisoners pardoned and released; i want all J6 House members who committed crimes prosecuted and punished if convicted; i want all foreign agreements and “treaties” not ratified by the U.S. Senate terminated; I want NATO cough up all past due financial support and made to pay their treaty obligation in the future; I want the United States to withdrawn from the United Nations; I want tariffs on all Chinese goods that are contributing to the destruction of domestic industries; I want the Department of Education abolished; I all Biden Executive Orders abolished; I want all title XI reinterpretations of gender thrown out; I want all official, legislative, and legal gender references based on the X and Y chromosomes a person was born with; I want only XX females participating in women’s sports: I want only two legal genders.

You have anything other than attack mode? We already know Trump has offered oil execs wide open drilling in Alaska & the Gulf in exchange for a Billion in campaign support. Why would it be any different with these wealthy people? Now, open the flood gates and attack away.
You are right of course but I think that perhaps the Billionaire Trump story is overhyped to sell papers.
