My gut tells me that SCOTUS is scared silly at the prospect of “interfering” in the upcoming election. I'll wager that they'll reject any petition from DJT for an expedited ruling on the verdict.

SCOTUS will hope the NY Court of Appeals will toss the verdict.

Trump will be in prison during the election.

The proposal is not to go directly to the Supreme Court. It is to sue Bragg and others and ask a Federal Judge to issue a temporary restraining order halting Judge Merchan from entering a judgment of guilt until the Federal court has an opportunity to review and rule on the serious Constitutional arguments that exist in this case.

I don’t know the likelihood of it being successful, but it would probably be worth a try.

Roberts is scared silly about involving the Supreme Court in the election. Could it be that Jack Smith prosecutor (Mary McCord) husband (Sheldon Snook) works for Roberts?
