A direct clash between Russia and NATO would put the world "one step away from a full-scale World War III," Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters this week as he celebrated a preordained victory in the country's presidential election and underscored his uncompromising Ukraine strategy.
The threat of nuclear escalation has been ever-present as the West continues to bolster Ukraine and frustrate the Kremlin's military campaign. For Moscow, the nuclear card has been useful in deterring deeper NATO involvement in the conflict. "Everything is possible in the modern world," Putin warned this week.

Well said, but the particular tinpot dictator I was referring to isn’t Biden.
What? MacDill Air Base in Tampa not included????
I am not counting on surviving since I am not far from where it would probably hit, but it is always good to have a backup plan. Thanks.
That was quite an amazing movie. For example, Kubrick’s set design for the nuclear command system on a B-52 was so close to the real thing that it touched off a SAC security investigation. As Kubrick explained though, he had simply taken the requirements as stated in Herman Kahn’s writings on nuclear warfare and used them as the basis for the coded radio command link system that controlled the release of nuclear bombs on the B-52.
The yellow dot on Washington state is not Seattle, but the Jim Creek sub communications array. The dirty hippies get to survive, but it’s 15 miles from were I live. Yay.
Omaha is a solid blue city won by Biden. The only non-blue city on that list is Colorado Springs.
Sorry, missed that one.
NATO policy is to get Russia to “strike first” according rules they make up on the fly.

I thought he was fighting Biden in Ukraine?
If they hit most of them they would do us a favor
Martha’s Vineyard
NYC
Hamtramck, Michigan
I don’t think Seattle is a 1-bomb city. Consider we have Naval Base Everett, Naval Station Kitsap, SubBase Bangor, JBLM, Bremerton Naval Shipyard, and the Jim Creek Naval Communications Station, all within about 30-40 miles of each other.
Even one Tsar-class bomb (which I don’t believe they have) wouldn’t be able to get all of them in one shot.
No is nuking anyone, ever. Suicide is never an option. Only Iran is crazy enough to lauch a first strike. Even that is a bluff. Have you never played poker?
Yep. Us 80s teens never thought we’d see the year 2000 without a nuclear exchange.
I think it’s why we had a Eff it, let’s party.

Many other songs reflect that mindset.
It’s why we have a hard time understanding the scaredy cats of the younger generations.

What kind? Digitalis grows wild, here. Figuring out a dosage might be dicey.
I’d happily vote for the first seven, if that would guarantee a stoppage.
