If Hunter ever comes up on any other charges (prostitution, influence peddling, 10% to his dad, etc.), perhaps any evidence on his computer they could claim was not admissible as it wasn't part of the gun warrant, but was viewed by the prosecution, perhaps even altered or corrupted.
Maybe what could be pretty minor gun charges was their way of getting rid of other evidence of bigger crimes?

Which is great news! Do you really care if that worthless junkie piece of crap goes to jail or not? The real value will be the comparison - in one case no crime but convicted of 34 phantom felonies -in the other case a clear cut documented crime committed by a defendant that admitted it and he walks.
That will bring us still more voters who will “hold their sanctimonious nose” and deign to stoop to vote for HIM - Those ash holes will vote from Trump and America will be better off for it.

That last is my guess. If the gun charges get tossed, it might make anything else found on the laptop the “fruit of the poisoned tree”... meaning further charges could not be brought against him for the other, more serious IMO, crimes.
The laptop was originally turned in by the shop tech because it had a bunch of really icky stuff on it. Evidence of pretty much every type of depravity humans have come up with over the last few thousand years.
The under age prostitution stuff, and his Niece, are what really make me want to see this guy in jail.
“Acts of capitalism between consenting Adults” has a HARD limit at the “Adult” part for me. Include “children” in that equation and IMO you deserve only a bullet to the brain stem.
Agree w/ your post. Point about the 4473 is that it exists and could... could be used with the law authority behind it to put someone away. It would certainly be misused in state level ‘red flag’ accusations by zealous prosecutors- again an abuse of a federal form to elevate a state level red flag “law” already of questionable 2A infringement issues.

Ok, 51 intelligence personnel said Hunter’s computer was Russian disinformation. Their letter was used by Biden campaign to sway voters. So, the question becomes when will they be charged with election interference?
