My sincere condolences. It took an uncle on my dad’s side in 2012. Very quickly after he was diagnosed.
Looks like she won’t be bumping any more white folk from their first class airline seats much longer.
She will still be voting Democrat though.
Was she vaxxed? And I’m not sad whenever a Democrat overseer announces they’re terminal. The damage they’ve done to America needs retribution.
I remember when actor Michael Landon was diagnosed with it. That was April 1991. I hadn't even heard of it at the time. He died on July 1st just months later. He was only 54.
Two to three months, then pfffft!

This creature was in it up to her elbows. A nasty piece of work. Who is to say if this is not divine retribution for a life of obfuscation and machine politics.
I’m terribly sorry for your loss. Grandfathers are the blessings of our childhood if we’re lucky. Sounds like you were. I called my brother today to wish the grandfather who raised us a happy 144th birthday. Miss him still. We were lucky, too.

I know I should be sorry for Sheila Jackson Lee, but all my focus now is on worrying about My President and I can only offer the slightest nod of recognition to her battle.

When I was very young, I was flying on Southwest from Austin to Houston. I was in a front seat that had a space next to the seat for a wheelchair. In rolls Barbara Jordan and she was placed right next to me.
I chatted with her the whole flight, and I can confidently say if she was alive today, she would not be a Democrat.
Jordan was a captivating human being. Shelia? Not so much.
I didn’t shed a tear when Justice Ginsburg died, and I will shed none for her. Could a slow, painful death be God’s punishment for being a life time abortionist? Asking for a friend...
She made politics ugly. Someone from her staff leaked out a message 3 days before voting began. She berated the staffer with a profanity laden rant. It was recorded and leaked out. She was oh,so, apologetic...touting her remorse and prior good work. A political and personal hypocrite. When the Texas state legislature fled the state in order to not vote on legislation, she was arrested at a protest demonstration in Washington D.C. She shoulda’ been voting in her state.
Disease and death is appointed for everyone. Subtracting that from our worldly legacies leaves us with the value of our life’s work. Her work is political pandering. It stinks.....IMHO.
