It’s not only the 1st step in reviving religion but the 1st step in in teaching or reminding children to do what is right.
More SCOTUS opinions at 10am today. Nineteen cases remain to be decided including presidential immunity and Fischer.

This is CNN, desperately trying to intimidate federal judge Aileen Cannon, save the unconstitutional appointment of the rogue special counsel, and ultimately push for another trial against Trump in the lead up to the election. This is the corporation that is “moderating” the presidential debate next week. Right out of state-run Pravda.
Keep in mind, two of those challenging the appointment are former attorneys general, Meese and Mukasey. This is a very substantive and serious constitutional challenge under the appointments clause of the Constitution, and the judge is right to hear the arguments and make her decision. And, hopefully, the judge will rule that Smith’s appointment is, in fact, unconstitutional.

The Supreme Court will release Opinions this morning at 10:00 a.m. Attorneys at scotusblog will be in the press room and live-blogging the Opinions as they are received.
There were four opinions released yesterday which leaves 19 cases remaining for this term. Yesterday's thread on those opinions is here:

For those keeping score, thus far Roberts has written 2 opinions; Thomas 7, Alito, 4, Kagan 5, Gorsuch 2, Kavanaugh 5, Sotomayor, 7, Barrett 3, and Jackson 4. (three cases were per curiam)
Cases of interest and great importance that remain undecided are the Trump immunity case (Trump v. U.S.), the Fischer case (relating to Jan 6 and Trump), and the two cases relating to the Chevron deference issues, Loper Bright and Relentless....

I remember when they took prayer out of the school. Madlin Murray Ohara I think was her name-the woman who brought it all to court. She was an atheist to her dying day and I believe murdered? I read somewhere that her son found salvation. I’m glad for him.
