Donald Trump’s presidential campaign said Friday that the guilty verdict in his Manhattan hush money trial had generated a “record-shattering” $34.8 million in small dollar donations.
The record-breaking number came in six hours after the verdict, the Trump campaign told The Post.
Trump posted a fundraising link to his Truth Social account seconds after a jury found him guilty of all 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal payments to former porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.
Trump called for 10 million “true MAGA patriots” to contribute to his campaign, and the GOP’s WinRed fundraising platform was overwhelmed within minutes — only to go back online about 30 minutes after the crash.
“From just minutes after the sham trial verdict was announced, our digital fundraising system was overwhelmed with support, and despite temporary delays online because of the amount of traffic, President Trump raised $34.8 million dollars from small dollar donors,” Trump campaign senior advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said in a statement.
The Trump campaign added that the overnight amount was “nearly double the biggest day ever recorded” for the 45th president on the WinRed platform.
“Not only was the amount historic, but 29.7% of yesterday’s donor’s were brand new donors to the WinRed platform,” LaCivita and Wiles said.
“President Trump and our campaign are immensely grateful from this outpouring of support from patriots across our country. President Trump is fighting to save our nation and November 5th is the day Americans will deliver the real verdict.”

I’m convinced this conviction is such a boost for Trump if he is sentenced with an ankle bracelet to wear when he’s not campaigning, he should ask for one for his wrist and he should wear it to all his rallies and wave it in the air while smiling and chant scam, scam scam. Ridiculing the conviction, like fake news, reinforces there are fake convictions and he was lucky enough to get one for free.

I just made my third $100 dollar donation since the verdict. I already donated before & got a hat, flag, and mug. I’ll donate more in July after I get paid again!
I’m sure the rats will respond with $81 million raised off the conviction in a few days...
I tried making a donation about 30 mins after the verdict, but the website was down. Tried about an hour later it loaded partially., But wouldn’t complete eventually around 7 o’clock it seemed to be working fine when I made my donation.
I’m sure there are some people who tried to donate right away, couldn’t, but will come back in a day or two to actually complete the transaction
That and the millions they have grifted off the taxpayers through their taxpayer funded ventures like the green new deal slush funds.

They don’t take a big chunk. They take what is legally required. If they don’t take anything the work becomes a campaign contribution. It is the law. Democrats also have to do the same with their donations. If you send a check they are still going to process it and take the same amount out. Stop spreading fake news. Stop discouraging people from donating online.
