Thursday on CNN, following the announcement of a guilty verdict of former President Donald Trump on 34 counts by a Manhattan jury, CNN senior political contributor Scott Jennings predicted it would favor Republicans in the election cycle.
According to the former Bush administration official, the verdict would “massively backfire” on Democrats by galvanizing Republican support and encouraging fundraising.
“Well, if my phone and the text messages I’m receiving are any indication, every Republican in the country is matter in a wet hen,” he said. “I mean, people who are decidedly non-MAGA, not Trump fans are blowing up tonight saying this case never should have been brought, this is ridiculous charges. It was an egregious use of the criminal justice system. And I mean, I’m hearing people say I had no intention of voting for Donald Trump, and now I am. And then if you ask to Trump campaign, what’s happening?”
“You know, they literally broke their online donation portal because people were rushing to the internet to save their money in the minutes after the verdict,” Jennings added. “So I think there’s a real chance here. it’s going to massively backfire on the Democrats and helped Donald Trump.”

MAGA.
“people were rushing to the internet to save their money”
AI in action I’d say.
Do hey have editors at Breitbart?
You idiots spew your brazen cynicism as though it was a virtue.... It’s not.
You seem to believe it gives you the appearance of astute perception and intuitive thought. The opposite, it’s a dead giveaway of shallow thinking and a superficial intellect.
Please tell us why you think the elections will be fair and clean.
Me too!!!
Serious question - Just how would Trump do that?
“I fully expect President Trump will lose in november. The dems are in control of how the votes are counted and 2020 will happen again.
I have zero doubt you are correct. Deep state ain’t going to let it happen.”
Why would you vote if you are 100% convinced that Trump will lose and your vote will have “zero” chance of changing that fact?

Because I really want to be wrong.
Now, again, why are you confident there’ll be a clean election and Trump can win?
Straw man, I never said that I was and you know it.
I am convinced that if enough right thinking people get out and vote they can overwhelm the lefts fraud and Trump will win in November.

I am using common sense. Something most people lack today.
Healthy skepticism is a supporting pillar of “common sense”, cynicism is a barrier occluding it.
Eight Senate Republicans, led by Mike Lee (R-Utah), are vowing to oppose major legislation and Biden nominees led by the Democratic Senate, following guilty verdicts for former President Donald Trump in New York.

We shall see... I am no expecting spines to have sprouted just because of this verdict.
Probably voice-to-text error. Maybe autocorrect. “Journalists” spew a lot of garbage, and few care.
