That is yet to play out and will turn on what the R's do at the convention. If Trump is incarcerated, they may bail on him and name another candidate or they may name him with DeSantis as VP.
If the former, we will know how fragile our future is. Many R's will not vote at all out of utter disgust; the Dems may even run someone other than Biden to capture as many D voters as possible. A fresh new D face may win the day.
If the latter, it could buy time for the USSC to rule on the issues.
Trump will not be incarcerated during the GOP convention.
