I’ve always known these people are idiots. But this just takes it to a new level. As an example, fuel prices have lowered and sort of stabilized after “Putin’s price hike” so companies probably feel more comfortable that this is the range they will be in for a while and are able to adjust some prices to compensate. Of course, that’s just one factor, but Joe and Jill are stupid enough to think that asking the CEOs to lower prices is the only reason they were lowered.

I'm pretty sure SOMEBODY has talked with Walmart - they've been taking a few items and marking them down a SMALL bit and then puting "Lower Price" stickers up (in many aisles of the grocery part). But it's not enough and not even back down to levels where they were before that idiot FJB was installed.

If Circus Tent Jill said this, then yeah, probably did 'talk' to them. As in, "We'll hound you and sue you and charge you with every crime we can if you don't and make sure the public sees you lowering them because of me."

If Walmart etc. are lowering prices of some things, it’s because those things aren’t selling so they are forced to lower them. If lots of things aren’t selling it suggests we are going into a recession.
