I think Israel finally came to the conclusion that ‘Hamas delenda est.’ if they are capable of such person-to-person inhumanity, they will never stop unless completely destroyed. That is what the Allied powers did in World War II, and it worked. Since then, it’s been “hearts and minds“ bullshit. If you’re going to go to war, go to war to completely destroy your enemy.
