Justice Sonia Sotomayor reflected Friday on her time on the Supreme Court, admitting that some of the high court’s decisions have driven her to tears.

“There are days that I’ve come to my office after an announcement of a case and closed my door and cried,” Sotomayor said Friday at an event honoring her at Harvard University.

“There have been those days. And there likely will be more,” she added in the speech, per the The New York Times.

The Harvard event was held as the Supreme Court heads toward the last several weeks of the term. The court is expected to deliver opinions on several high-profile cases, including one determining whether former President Trump should be immune from prosecution for the charges against him for allegedly working to overturn the 2020 election, and another concerning the legality of abortion pills such as mifepristone.

Is she trying to send a dog whistle message that women are too emotional to serve on the bench?

Too many emotions. I love you ladies but I’m afraid I’ve seen too much to even consider an alternative opinion in this case.

ROFL!! Thanks for that SNL sketch. I don’t remember seeing this skit. We used to watch SNL back in the olden days when the original people like Jane Curtain, Bill Murray, Gilda Radnor, Garrett Morris, and Lorraine Newman were on the show. It was funny then. I don’t think I’ve watched it in 20+ years.

You mean that they should be in child-bearing roles that they are equipped for?

I'm sure our descendents, whoever they are. They will read about our current period and learn about why our woke society has failed.

Men are women. Women are men.

Men are generally ruled by reason, and to a lesser extent, emotion. IE for men, reason usually takes precedent over emotion.

Women are generally ruled by emotion, and to a lesser extent, reason. IE for women, emotion usually takes precedent over reason.

Not only does this woman not belong on a bench. She does not belong in a courtroom. Anything that does not involve shaking a fryer in a burger joint is above her qualifications

Between this story coming out and the nontroversy the Democrats are trying to gin up over which flag Alito chooses to fly at his vacation home, I think they're trying to prep everybody for something.

There are a series of important SCOTUS decisions that will be announced soon on important issues.

Lopez....aka Chevron Deference,

Garland vs Cargill about the bump stock ban,

Netchoice vs Paxton over whether states can ban Big Tech from censoring users like Florida and Texas have

Missouri vs Biden over whether the government can lean on Big Tech to censor,

NRA vs Vullo can a government regulator threaten a company if they do business with somebody the regulator doesn't like....ie can the government openly act like the Mafia like the NY government did

Trump vs US regarding presidential immunity

The Left is very likely not going to like several of those decisions. I think they're trying to shape the battlefield for public opinion in advance here. If they go the right way, Big Tech censorship will be crippled, the Lawfare cases against President Trump will be shot down in flames as will the bump stock ban AND with chevron deference gone, the power of the government bureaucracy will take a big kick in the balls.

Oh please LORD! Grant the Wise Latina MANY MORE DAYS of closing her door and crying because of sane, constitutional rulings...

Grant her 7 more months' worth of such days. Then rid us of her. 7-2 sounds much better than 6-3 especially when 3 of those 6 are very wobbly.

I think she's trying to send a dog whistle that the Left is about to get its azz kicked in a series of important SCOTUS decisions.

She should step down and seek help.
