Chase Oliver won the Libertarian Party presidential nomination on Sunday after seven rounds of voting at the party’s convention in Washington, DC.
The 38-year-old, who has previously run for Congress multiple times in Georgia, focused his pitch on making Libertarian values palatable to a broader audience.
In an interview with CNN following his nomination, Oliver said he believes earning 2% of the vote nationally in November’s general election is a reasonable goal.

I thought it was clever and worth a giggle.
That 2% could be just enough to put Xo Xiden back in the White House. That might be exactly what they want, and it lets them congratulate themselves for fighting the establishment.
38? If that “broader audience” are Millennials and older Gen Zs who would otherwise vote for Plugs, then ok, whatever it takes to beat the Dem margin of fraud.
Oliver, baby, you will NEVER CONVINCE TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOTS THAT ...OPEN BORDERS... IS COMMON SENSE.
I’ll tell the truth after much consideration:
1. I used to think the Libertarians were somewhat conservative, except for their love of WEED .
2. I never realized how RUDE THEY COULD BE. I don’t care what CNN says...CONSERVATIVES...MAGA PEOPLE...ARE NOT RUDE.
3. They could identify with Socialists far more than they could identify with American Patriots.
4. I never formed a true opinion about them, because their real beliefs and policies were foreign to me.
WELL, THIS WEEKEND I LEARNED A ...LOT...ABOUT THEM and when in the past I thought they could be a wing of the Republican Conservatives...NOW, ALL BETS ARE OFF.
THEY ARE THE TUTTI FRUTTI OF A ...shhhh not very large party, therefore, I give them no credence.
They are on 40 state ballots...as of today. They were on 50 in 2020. On election day, the date I was speaking of, and the only date that matters, they will again be on all 50 state ballots.

May you can STFU yourself. Libertarians have only secured 50-state ballot access three times and there is no guarantee that they will this year. In fact, there is discussion in some reports that they may not. With their gambit to invite RFK Jr, Biden, and Trump, they will likely have less enthusiasm this year. Trump beat them up pretty good Saturday, marking them as a loser party vying futilely for 3% of the vote. Their chosen candidate sets sites even lower at 2%. That will hurt them. No one likes losers.
You child
WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?
I’ve always viwed Libertarians as people who could’nt make up their minds....
Indeed--with natural coffee aroma!
Same here.
“Libertarians would have been better to skip a nominee and instead just endorse Trump. Cheaper too.”
Small minds, small thinking. But Trump tried.
Back in the 1970s and 1980s, I was with the Young Americans for Freedom (YAF), a conservative group, and we were always fighting the Liberaltarians, who were always trying to take over YAF. The Liberaltarians’ biggest issue was the legalization of psychotropic drugs.

Creative use of trumpets and a glockenspeil in the Ad song.
I was in YAF back in that era too. At the University of Alabama, I led a pretty dynamic chapter and most of our group was also in College Republicans. We battled the early version of a “Gay Student Union” saying they should not be recognized or get free office space in Ferguson Center. The April Fools edition of the Crimson White called us “YAF — Youth Against Faggotry.” But for the first time they also poked fun at the semi-organized homos. In the fake April Fools classifieds, they had a notice for “Gay Student Union picnic at Lake Harris. Bring a covered dish or a small child.” We had attacked national homosexual organizations for links to NAMBLA.
No more sympathy for libertarians.
Booing Trump.
Draining 2 or 3% off Trump ——with more in small pockets of oddballs.
Most libertarians are morons, as shown by their choice of nominee.
Dude’s name could be Oliver Closeoff and he still won’t get more than 3%.
