typical lies from NY slimes. Murders may be down but violent crimes are up and more critically crime has moved out of the inner cities and into the suburbs.
If Trump campaign is smart they will follow the Nixon playbook and make crime and overseas unrest the #1 issues (plus inflation).

Crime is not recorded when laws are not enforced.
I don’t believe for a minute anything is down. It’s just not being addressed and prosecuted.

Yup- when rogue DA’s are letting violent criminals back on the street rather than prosecute crimes, the numbers will obviously drop

It used to be a FBI requirement that police departments report violent crime. Biden dropped that requirement so now most of the big Democratic cities will not report those crimes to the FBI. Ta da! Violent crime rates are miraculously down.

When you ignore violent crime it does not mean that it has dropped.

Does anyone believe the Times?

I think we all are seeing it when we go shopping and see certain items are locked up behind glass.
That makes an impression on all of us regardless of what the official crime statistics say.
Retailers would not be locking up items if they didn’t face issues with criminal stealing their merchandise.
To: KingofZion
IMO the number one crime besides illegal aliens entering the US is shoplifting. It’s gotten to where lowlifes think it’s a right.

Correct.
Also a change in reporting requirements so that many crimes aren’t included in FBI statistics.
There’s a reason only the most thick-headed people among us believe the media/government.

Even as Violent Crime Drops,“
Total BS from the lying rats at NYT
To: KingofZion
Violent crime has a tendency to drop when you stop recording it.

This is essentially the Democrats' 2024 campaign message. "Everything is better now. You, the voter, are just too stupid to see this!"
There were multiple videos on Twitter yesterday of a despondent James Carville saying, "The Democrats' message is s**t!"

The only reason “murder is down” is cops carry trauma packs and first responders have gotten so good at saving gunshot victims.

“...much like with the economy, where the cumulative impact of inflation overshadows a statistical improvement to standards of living.”
Odd that people value their own experience at the grocery store more than ‘a statistical improvement to standards of living’.
“Nonetheless, polls suggest that many voters share some of Mr. Trump’s pessimistic views on crime...even if they say that things are not quite as bad in their own lives or neighborhoods.”
Local H.S. graduation was canceled last week when gunfire broke out. Anecdotal, I know, it had never happened here before.

It’s not hard to believe that murders are down from 2020 which was an absolutely bloodbath in the black community.

Is there a Republican think tank out there that routinely checks crime and economic data issued, i.e., made-up, by the Democrats?
