Legendary Disney filmmaker John Musker called out The Walt Disney Company for putting political messages ahead of story in its recent films.
Musker, who co-directed some of the studio’s most popular films in recent decades, like “The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin” and “Moana,” commented on the state of Disney in a recent interview, saying the company needs to steer away from pushing a woke message and focus on characters and story above all.
“I think they need to do a course correction a bit in terms of putting the message secondary, behind entertainment and compelling story and engaging characters,” Musker told Spanish outlet El País while at the Animayo International Summit in Gran Canaria last week.

Disney is more “woke” than ever. One beloved Walt Disney legacy after another is being turned into politicized DEI dreck that has fans hysterically laughing and with-holding their money from whacked-out neo-Disney at the same time.
LAUGH BREAK Disney’s “long-awaited” live-action revamp of Walt Disney’s beloved tale of “Snow White” has been delayed til 2025.
According to The Hollywood Reporter last October, Disney has decided to push back the release date for its redo of the Walt Disney classic.....now known as “Snow Woke.”
The delay is no doubt in response to the drubbing Disney got when they released images of Snow White alongside her reconstructed dwarf pals.
While the lead actor looked more or less as expected, her seven companions all appeared to be portraying the DEI’ed seven dwarfs as a racially and physically diverse group of people, as opposed to a septet of people with dwarfism.
At the time, Disney scurried to emphasize to Vanity Fair that while those early photos were from Snow White’s set, they were not “official,” and depicted “stand-ins” for some cast members.
Obviously, set photos aren’t always indicative of how a movie turns out, but does seem to indicate that the new live-action Snow White is not going to take notes from the beloved 1937 Walt Disney film.
But given the approach Disney’s taken to updating its other remakes, it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see the new Snow Woke’s dwarfs looking like tricky woke cuties...... not like the story that made them famous.
It also did not help when Snow Woke Disney star, Rachel Ziegler (Rachel who?), made some deplorable feminist-facist statements about her “woke” movie character.
The WDC is not going to listen to him. They are so committed to forcing, “The Message,” down the public’s throat that they think that the worst they’ll get a pyrrhic victor from this.
The best thing people can do is what they have been doing...walking away. Don’t watch any of their movies at the box office or stream them (or watch on TV), don’t attend their theme parks, and don’t buy any of their merch. Cut them completely off from your hard-earned dollars.
No more entertainment it’s just the money losing message now until they’re out of money
In other news, legendary Disney filmmaker John Musker will no longer be working on Disney films and is said to be considering suicide (even though he has publicly proclaimed that he isn't suicidal).
Has the release been pushed back to 2026 or later yet? We’re getting into that time of the year when a specific date in 2025 should already be announced, if it’s actually going to happen.

My guess is they dumped it to avoid more bad press.

And hopefully it avoids theaters and goes straight to Disney plus.
They have guys dressed as women at the parks greeting kids.
Gay characters in every movie and tv show.
They have this and wonder why they lose billions!....

At this point I would really love to see Disney file for bankruptcy.
