Ad hominems is all they’ve got. And their good little followers just keep repeating it over and over, like a mantra that might come true if they just keep saying it enough.
The country does seem divided between those who can think for themselves and those who just blindly follow no matter what. I have acquaintances who I know are liberal Democrats, lately it is become very interesting to see that the lightbulb has gone on. They complain about the high costs, the lack of fixing infrastructure, open boarder and in the war in Ukraine. There are thinking liberals who are now seeing that actions have consequences, and sometimes those consequences are in the wrong direction.
