The 81-year-old president’s message will be tailored to the outcome of the trial, according to Politico, but in any scenario, he intends to stress that the US legal system worked and Americans should respect the process.
Biden will deliver remarks whether the 77-year-old former president is convicted, acquitted or the jury cannot agree on a verdict.
Closing arguments in Trump’s trial over alleged hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels are set to commence on Tuesday.
It is believed that the jury could reach a verdict as early as next week.
The exact timing and setting of Biden’s speech have not been definitively determined, but it won’t be done on the campaign trail, multiple sources told the outlet.
In an effort to have his remarks not perceived as being political, Biden will deliver them from the White House grounds.

Having monitored this show trial in detail, the last thing any rational person could conclude is “Trust the Process”. This corrupt judge, corrupt prosecutors, corrupt Biden administration personnel on loan, etc, have made a mockery of due process and Constitutional rights.
Consider this: Merchan is going to reveal the jury instructions after the defense is concluded. Only then will the essential charge(s) that made the trial possible be revealed to the Defendant. That denies the Defendant any opportunity to present a defense of the charge(s). Violates the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments.
My rant makes plenty of sense to those that are capable of seeing the bigger picture of which you are unable to do apparently. Ya’ think Xiden would get re-elected if this criminal president was impeached? Ya’ think the turnout for Trump might be a little greater? Ya’ think the GOP election turnout nationally and locally might actually increase total victories if there were an impeachment? He will be convicted--and be branded as a felon (and yes, that will cost him some independent votes, enough to lose the election).
The verdict will be overturned AFTER the election, but the damage will have already been done. At that point, the far left will back off since they will have gotten exactly what they wanted--a damaged candidate and a win for Biden/Harris and accelerated far left policies.
