He's half an idiot. He can't pick anyone competent, or who isn't a backstabber or family gonif grifter. He continually gets played and tricked by both people that love to kiss his ass and kick it.

His VP must be able to do things never before done by a VP, since he's going to be catching fire from all sides and he is going to be distracted by the media, the deep state he promised to drain the first time, etc.

That' s if he even wins. The deep state has likely perfected election stealing this time.

I would agree with you if he were a younger man.

Hopefully, advisers are telling him that his VP choice will be a huge factor in November votes. Voters realize that his age is an issue, and that his successor is way more important than is usually is.
