In a campaign stop in the Bronx, New York, former President Donald Trump named some of his possible vice presidential picks, a sign the list may be shortening.
In an interview with News 12 New York, Trump singled out Dr. Ben Carson, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) as top options on a list that has continued to grow.
“We have so many,” Trump said when asked about picks for vice president. “You could take people like Ben Carson, people like Marco Rubio, or J.D. Vance. I mean, there’s so many. Elise is doing a fantastic job, but I could go on for quite a long time. We have many people who would do a really fantastic job.”
When asked about the timeline, Trump said he would make a decision “sometime during the convention,” which is when presidential nominees typically announce their vice president. Trump has floated all of these names as picks for various reasons.

I think Carson would be great.
Both are deep state. Both would be terrible. Both would make Trumps intentions appear suspicious.
Trump will deal with the illegals and any labor issues.
In the meantime, avoid the temptation to pick at every not.

Indeed. The irony is Trump went on and on with the snake-in-the-tent story on the trail, all while the biggest snake, Pence, was right there inside his tent all along waiting to bite. He will have to do better this time screening for snakes. No excuses.
I think he should go with Captain Crunch the “Cereal Killer”. He could task the Captain with eliminating the Froot Loops.

Trump already has Florida so the Rube does nothing for the ticket but ensure the slimy liberal establishment pukes have an inside man. This is more akin to Reagans mistake of taking Bush as VP, short term good, but long term the Bush’s have destroyed the Republican brand with their version of cowardice and teaching the rest of the Washington GOP to act like Little Me-Me Democrats. Vance is a solid pick and is set up for 28 if he is on the ticket. He doesn’t necessarily bring anything to the ticket but builds for the future.
Carson or Sanders brings a portion of the black vote and possibly more women and evangelicals to the ticket. Both are solid picks.
Trump’s VP must be an attack dog—no Mr. Nice Guy. Pence was a drudge on Trump—Trying to be all he could be for his own interests. Even his Christian believes stood in the way and seemed a bit unreal. No, we need a person outside the political class. Tucker would be excellent. He would be able to go on the attack and defend Trump. He would scare the Democrats too. Trump needs a Tucker in his power circle.
