Bidenomics: Fast Food Costs Soar — McChicken up 199%, Frosty up 111%, Taco Bell Burrito up 132%

Fast food is no longer healthy for your wallet. Common fast food favorites increased in price under President Joe Biden’s so-called Bidenomics.

Fast food inflation has a disparate impact across racial and ethnic groups due to different levels of fast food consumption. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 42.4 percent of non-Hispanic black adults consume fast food, compared with 37.6 percent of non-Hispanic white adults, 35.5 percent of Hispanic adults, and 30.6 percent of Asian adults.

The higher price tag of popular foods may be creating political problems for Biden. Thirty percent of black men and 11 percent of black women intend to vote for former President Donald Trump, a Wall Street Journal poll found, a dramatic increase from 2020.

Fast food companies are making record profits and last year spent billions on stock buybacks. Biden has nothing to do with any price increases, it’s just greed.

Want to fix it? It is very simple...

STOP BUYING IT.

LEARN TO LIVE WITHOUT IT.

PERIOD.

“I don’t get fast food anymore. Make everything at home.”

What a brilliant concept! I am getting so sick of folks complaining about prices yet they keep going out and paying them because they cannot learn to live without it. They are their own worst enemy... And for those who have the strength like you and I.

What the hell is wrong with them? It is not rocket science...

STOP IT and the market will correct it’s self post haste.

Way to miss the point.

Exactly. Part of my reasoning is, of course, because the costs are out of control. Another reason is, nothing tastes good anymore. Whether it's Long Covid or that they've changed the ingredients, I just don't enjoy fast food anymore.

One of my favorites was the original chicken sandwich meal at Burger King. Another was the regular roast beef at Arbys. Neither taste good anymore, so why buy it? And what I would spend on those items will make me a half dozen meals or more. Just isn't worth the costs.

Bottom line; when prices are out of control and beyond the ability to pay for, then we have to cut back. That's what I do, and apparently you do too. Kudos to you my friend!

No. I didn’t miss the point. I was expanding on it. I stopped eating fast food BECAUSE it was way overpriced. And that was in the 90’s. I stopped Subway last year for the same reason.

You literally said “This doesn’t impact me”. Do you think inflation is limited to fast food?

You share pure wisdom... Just refuse to feed the beast and the beast will become hungry and come begging.

No he didn’t... He made a true statement. If you don’t like the price then DON’T BUY IT. I ABSOLUTELY AGREE...

You got stock in fast food?

What I noticed about Taco Bell is that I used to really enjoy the bean burritos. Now the price has gone up & I don’t believe they are as good as they were. That’s pathetic.

Not only that, they have become “Anna Bell” sized portions. Let me explain... One of my Granddaughters is named Anna Bell. When she was the youngest of the tribe my daughter tried to serve everyone including adults “Anna Bell” sized servings... I have no clue what she was thinking.

We finally had to explain to her that adults need more than that to even survive... :)

Do you understand economic indicators? There’s price inflation in the things you like, too.

No there is not. I will live in a tent in a sandwash and eat Cactus before I allow them to insult my intelligence and abuse me like this.

“Price of tents is up 25%.”

An accurate inflation adjustment reality. 100% to 200% is pure price fixing and price gouging.

The one thing that stuck with me in business 101 in college in 1973 was this: When you buy a product you are “voting for it”.

I’ve used that principle when making purchases my entire life. I will NOT buy a product because I literally want it to fail. Heck, that’s why pr0n is so profitable. People don’t even realize they are voting for it every time they choose to see it. And it’s not free. As one wise man said, when a product is free, it means YOU are the product.

ABSOLUTELY!!! Pure and simple vote with your feet, walk on by. And when enough do it in mass it really does get their attention. Everyone is stuck on this “trickle down” idea of economy where investing more into purchases is doing their fair share to aid the economy as a whole.

This is utter BS antiquated obsolete ideology. Most of the profits go to foreign corporations and none of it stays in our economy anyhow. Just saying no period is the only way to actually wake them up and force them to back off the price fixing. And when they are pressured they will in turn pressure the law makers.
