Mike Schmidt, the leftist prosecutor in Portland, Ore., is asking voters to give him the opportunity to serve four more years as head of the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.
In an interview with local media last October, he graded himself an “A” for his performance.
But if the past four years of record homicides, decriminalized antifa rioting and surging street overdoses represent Schmidt as his best, Portland may not survive another four years with him at the helm.
Schmidt’s re-election is being challenged by his subordinate, Nathan Vasquez, a senior deputy district attorney and moderate candidate who promises to prosecute crimes and restore the office’s relationship with police, which was broken by Schmidt’s open cop hatred.

We need to get rid of every leftist judge out there, especially the ones Soros financed. When this country needs to understand is Conservatives rule of law is the Constitution and Liberal rule of law is what hurts the Constitution. Calling Conservatives “radicals” needs to change to the left are the radicals.

Eventually, the fascist “protesters” will turn on the Liberals in power and there will have to be a civil war. The protesters are paid to disrupt. “Defund the Police” defunds the people defending the liberal elites.
The lady across the street from me moved here from Portland during Covid. I asked her about the Antifa riots. She denied it and said the cops caused all the trouble. She repeated the MSNBC talking point perfectly.

I know it’s unfair, but I googled Mike Schmidt (not the baseball player) and he looked like a total Dip Schmidt. And if that wasn’t his high school nickname, it should have been.
My first thought was “Didn’t he play for the Phillies?” Then I read the article.
