"News" outlets are engaged in feverish speculation about just how dystopian Donald Trump's second term might be. Their fervent imaginations overrule the reality of Trump's first term, which never devolved into dictatorship.
On Sunday, Politico's Joanna Weiss conducted a Q&A with liberal Samantha Rose Hill, a scholar of totalitarianism and the author Hannah Arendt. The headline was "‘A Truer Reality Beyond Reality’: Hannah Arendt’s Warning About How Totalitarianism Takes Root."
Although Stalinism and Nazism are touched upon (barely), the main focus was Orange Man Bad.

If Trump makes it to January 2025 I think his 2nd term will be a wash out as the Democrats are hiring legions of Lawyers and Law firms to tie him up in court for years to come.

I had said this already on another thread. I saw someone who had posted the following statement:
“I’m not so worried about the bloodbath that will happen if he loses, I’m more worried about the concentration camps that will spring up when he wins.”
The sad truth is that there are some liberals out there who are absolutely convinced that if Trump wins in November, we are going to see concentration camps full of liberals and people who are against the ‘Trump regime’.
It is wickedness that casts a blind eye to their own ideology that embraces the totalitarian nature of Marxism; yet, labels the MAGA movement a fascist dictatorship. The only thing I can understand with their false thinking is they associate the huge Trump rallies with the huge rallies of Mussolini and Hitler. By that reasoning, are the huge rallies at the Vatican for Pope Francis the result of fascism?
Yes he can win and may well do so but only be in sight of it and the Left or Federals take him out..
