Russia on Tuesday announced the start of tactical nuclear weapons drills close to Ukraine, in what it said was a response to Western "threats".
Throughout its two-year offensive on Ukraine, Moscow has repeatedly talked-up its arsenal of nuclear weapons and its readiness to deploy them if it senses an existential threat.
The West has accused President Vladimir Putin of irresponsible nuclear sabre-rattling.
Russia's defence ministry said Tuesday the drills were taking place in its Southern Military District, which borders and includes parts of Ukraine that Moscow claims to have annexed. It did not specify exactly where.

Trump wanted to send nuclear subs to shut Putin up from his constant threatening everyone with nuclear weapons.
Trump is sick of Putin and his constant use of the “n word”.
The world would go nuts and unite against Russia if Putin started using nuclear weapons for his European invasions.
Oh, they’d be outraged and make a lot of noise about it, but if Russia used tactical nukes in Ukraine, they wouldn’t do enough to make Russia regret using them.
Trump will fix the situation when elected. Unless we’re in WW III before then.
I think they most definitely would, Russia would truly become a pariah and the world would mean it and act on it with strict enforcement and much more unity than normal.
Normalizing nuclear weapons for invading and conquering neighboring countries is a whole new ballgame.

Trump’s dealings with Russia aside from the surface friendly talk consisted in reality of moving our European forces forward and ending INF, pushing for a stronger more aggressive NATO and ending their dependence on Russian energy and increasing our nuclear forces against Putin.

NATO was awakened by this invasion and is following that prompt from Trump, this year 18 nations will be in compliance with more on the way with new budgets.
