WHY YOU CAN'T BE AN IRAN HAWK AND A RUSSIA DOVE
Institute for the Study of War ^

A Russian victory is an Iranian victory. Moscow and Tehran have formed a military bloc with the aim of defeating the United States and its allies in the Middle East, Europe, and around the world. Russian and Iranian military forces have been fighting alongside one another in Syria for nearly a decade.

Militarily, China, Russia, Iran/militant Islam are primary enemies of all in the US. Their nukes and or other arms will kill all alike in sudden destruction, while requiring many funds to combat.

Ideologically, the Left with its army of anti-Christ Wokeducation warriors are a slow poison to any country, which most of the NATO countries are promoting. China is the benefactor of the current Russia and Iran vs. the US and Israel conflict as it provides them both business and intel, while impoverishing both Russia and the West.

But it is the immediate militarily threat which calls for the militarily force, while the God-fearing work combat the ideologically enemies in all realm.

As an active conservative evangelical then I yet have relatively more yet limited freedom to publicly act as such here in the US than in Russia, but which is more than in China, which is more than in Iran.

My strongest unity is with evangelicals in all countries, though attacked by both the left as well as certain unequivocal Putin devotees.

Here were the key points, about the Slovak leadrer, I noticed in the article you supplied the link for:

“But in 2018, he [Fico] was forced to resign in disgrace after the assassination of investigative journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancee Martina Kusnirova led to countrywide protests against his governing Smer party and its perceived ties to corrupt oligarchs.”

“Fico threatened to cut state advertising to independent television networks and threatened their parent companies with ineligibility for state contracts – tactics that have gutted independent media in neighbouring Hungary.”

“On the day he was shot, parliament was scheduled to vote on a law restructuring state broadcaster RTS to give the government more direct control over it.”

Fico also got rid of a special prosecutors office that was looking into a ton of corruption cases.

What is similar about many eastern European countries and Russia is the economic dominance of oligarchs, which is a vestige of how political power moved quickly into personal financial power in all the former Soviet Soviet-alligned states with no dominant history of real capitalism and free markets. The oligarchs - all of them - begin with some vestiage of political or bureaucratic power-position and from it gain financial power for themselves, to the point where THAT - oligarch power - becomes power itself.

Russia is bereft of it as is Ukraine and many others.

Nato didn’t encroach?
Really?
How many nations were allied with Russia in Europe between the collapse of the Soviet Union?
Abd how many of the former warsaw pact joined nato?
Yes, NATO did encroach.

And all of those nations didn't want Russia making political decisions for them, that's why they became independent instead of annexing themselves into Russia. Their objective was to get further from Russia, not closer to the bear.

And who cares? Declaring war (sorry, special military operation) on your neighbors because they want to make friends with some other guys isn't a legitimate way to run international relations. Fear of Russian invasion is one of the big things that pushed Ukraine to want NATO membership in the first place!

Very informative article you posted, thank you very much.

Many Western countries seem to be utterly divided 50/50, (including America) these days.
This is a rather “new” phenomenon that started barely 10 years ago. But why? And how? Something surely happened in order to make this destructive phenomenon come about.

I think that West indeed has a number of flaws, but we could have tackled them if Russia and China had not been masters at “fanning the flames” on those issues - truly exacerbating it all. How did Russia and China managed to do that? Well... they used our very own tools : Social Media.

Social Media is slowly destroying parts of our Western societies by dividing us, making us distrust everything, or making us believe false things... It gives and IMMENSE power to those who want us ill. Social media is the perfect trojan horse giving our enemies a massive propaganda advantage against us.

Projecting our power over 5,000 miles, crossing an ocean, would face difficulties. The supply line would not go unchallenged. Missile and drone attacks would take a toll.

Not many difficulties. We have plenty of experience doing this. Maybe you have no clue what the US Army is - it's the number one logistics company in the world. Those of us in combat arms is barely 1/8 of the Army, everyone else is there to support us. 7/8 of us is just beans and bullet delivery.

How do you expect Russia to do a bit of damage to US shipping, much less seriously challenge it? Russia has one aircraft carrier that can't even get out of drydock. (Assuming thedrydock doesn't sink again!) And she could barely run flight ops (with jets at 1/2 tank and maybe one bomb), much less actually threaten US ships. Russian submarines are iffy, and you better bet every single one of them is being followed. What drones does Russia have that could fly that far with ship-sinking payload? Even ignoring any anti-air defense systems? How are they getting through Europe to hit the Atlantic? What terminal guidance actual gets them to the ships? How are they finding the ships in the first place?

Russia is, at best, a local power that has trouble fighting it's itty-bitty neighbor, much less a real military. The only reason they're on the security council or anything else is because they have nukes. Most of which are likely rusted out and unable to fly, or even try to launch. Not nearly the threat most people think they are.

Nato eastward expansion is by definition encroachment. Please don’t play leftist word games.

Then why are you? If my neighbor ten houses down buys two houses next to him, he's not encroaching on me. If he buys every house between us, he's still not. If he starts trying to move the fence into my yard, now he's encroaching.

Ukraine is a sovereign nation, and Russia lost any kind of ownership when Ukraine declared independence from the USSR. Anything that happens solely in Ukraining territory is, by definition, not encroaching on Russia territory. Sure, it encroaches on Russia's desired sphere of influence, but Russia has no right to determine that for another sovereign country outside of military force and lack of international action.

And historically, Ukraine was its own republic under the USSR, it wasn't part of the actual Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. Crimea was an autonomous republic under Russia proper, but Ukraine was not.

This is the most idiotic thing I have read in a while.   President Putin was forced by idiotic Neocon warmongers to find any port in a storm and the only ports he could find id Iran, China and Turkey.   I hope you're proud of yourselves!   This didn't need to happen.

wastedyears:
What “interests” would those be?

Usa-France:
Those “interests” are based on trade and doing business. It’s what made America an immense superpower, especially in the aftermath of WWII when the planet had to be rebuilt.
America without its allied countries (its customers) would not be functional. And (historically speaking) without France it most probably would not have been able to get its independence...

But it’s not only that. When it comes to America’s military presence around the planet, it’s what guarantees its security and preserving its true independence today.
It’s a way to resist the ever expanding GINSCA (Globo-Islamo-NeoSoviet-Commie-Alliance) which is everywhere and hates America.

So when you say:
“We should be isolationist and not care about the outside world burning.”

That would be a dream come true for the GINSCA giving them all the necessary leeway to massively expand themselves even further everywhere - spreading like cancer. Don’t believe one second that America would be spared from that expanding cancer!

The only thing our enemies yearn for is that America isolate and corner itself in its basement like a traumatized bullied teenager who has decided to not defend himself anymore - letting the bullies expand and remain untouchables.

America’s isolationism would be an act of extreme anti-nationalism... and it would be a pro-globalist act. Because it would give our historical enemies the leeway to expand without any limits - AGAINST America’s interests (I explained above).

You see... our enemies don’t suffer from your qualms and “bunkering down in your cellar” syndrome. Our enemies (especially Russia and China) are MASSIVELY anti-isolationists! They take over everything bit by bit. They feed on our masochistic “isolationism”. They see it as an extreme form of American weakness.

"millions upon millions of military aged men" -- Are you dreaming of Schlichters "the Attack" maybe?

Sorry, haven't read any of his books. I work from reality, and the reality of what is being allowed to take place is not for the betterment of this nation, in fact is is absolutely for the determent of this nation

So, hardly is my response to you.

I am talking about the invasion of this nation. Apparently you think the invasion of our borders are being done by those who truly are seeking a better life, so you equate the reality to some fiction you read. This only shows that you live in a fictional world devoid of the reality if you are going to point to a fictional book, even if it may portray some of what I am talking about. That would show that his fictional work is based off of what is really taking place in reality, and that you are unable to see that.

All one really needs to do is look at the statistics of who is actually coming into this nation. These are not people that want to join in, they are people who want to take from.

It's not even a point that one can debate when one dives deeper into the issue, as opposed to those who dip their toes in, as apparently you do.

While you are busy fearing Russia, it's apparently enough to distract you from the bigger fear you should be focused upon, and that is the threat coming from within. Keep it up, and you will learn the hard way. The U.S. is far easier to take from within than it is to do so externally. Because if the attack is coming from within, then those at control of the levers of power determine to either act or not act, and that makes all the difference in the world. When those internal controls are breached, it adds in the ability to allow hostiles to invade with impunity. Which is exactly what is happening right now on a 24X7 basis. The combatants are then able to determine where the critical infrastructure is located & position themselves to attack those critical infrastructures when they communicate back that they are ready for whenever the command is given to attack.

As I have stated many times, what is happening in Ukraine, is a distraction to get people like yourself to foolishly allocate resources towards that effort. For as those assets are allocated somewhere else, that is more the invaders do not need to be concerned about.

You think because you are book smart that this makes you a great thinker, but doing the one thing does not guarantee that intelligence naturally follows. I have met many like you throughout my long life, and quite frankly people like you fail to impress. Because you lack common sense and critical thinking skills.

Ivan Ilyin was correct in his thinking, and I agree with him, and that is what Reagan did to finally defeat them. But the force was a financial force applied, not a military force applied. Unfortunately though, by the time they fell, H. W. Bush had been defeated, and William Clinton was poised to take over.

But that still had zero bearing on Putin. Sure, the intentions were based upon good intentions in the beginning, but the power this nation had soon corrupted her internally as these leaders began to realize the greater wealth & power they could accumulate for themselves personally.

The saying that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, is not something that some clever person came up with. It came from smart people who saw the reality. Those in power seek to acquire absolute power, because that secures their power. That very power Ivan Ilyin was speaking of.

If you are incapable of seeing the direction this nation is taking, and that are leaders are no longer concerned about the well being of its citizens. Then that proves that you lack the ability to think critically, and thus are not as smart as you believe yourself to be, even though you are well read. Believe me, being well read is a good thing, but it must be taken to the next level, because reading only introduces one to an idea or concept. To go to that next level you must use that to assess what you see happening, and that seeing cannot be limited to a narrow view, especially if there is a real push to steer you to focus on that narrow view. It must instead be as wide a view as possible. If not then you miss what is happening beyond that narrowly focused view.

Wake up man, you are helping those who have control of the levers of power of the most powerful nation on earth, and their intentions are evil, and not well intentioned at all. It is with deep sadness & anger that I even have to accept this reality, but if you look around with a critical eye then it becomes obvious that what we are saying is the truth.

What you will also see is that we desire to put this nation back upon the righteous path that the creator through his working with the founding fathers of this nation envisioned for this nation to become as the example for the world, veered off course the moment we tossed out any mention of the creator and prevented it from being aired in the public square.

Read what I typed.   It was our Globalist warmongers that pushed NATO up to Russia's border.   Stop pretending that you can't see our belligerence and only see belligerence from Russia.

Do you doubt that Joe Biden is supporting the Ukraine?   If Joe Biden is for it, I'm against it.

None of this is our problem.   Ukraine and the eastern satellites are in Russia's orbit, not ours.   A don't care what kind of propaganda you spew.   We have no dog in this hunt.   Or we shouldn't have.
