The Japanese have found a commercial application for kudzu, and an insect that devours kudzu, reportedly.

Any similar plans here ?

They've been trying for years. The plant thrives, but the bugs won't.

The problem for commercial development is the wild kudzu growing everywhere. How would you get harvesting machinery into backyards, woods and forest, without taking everything else with it?

Here's how I got rid of it last month. Note that the mulching destroys everything (except trees I marked to keep) and leaves a lot of sticks and chunks I'll be picking up all Summer:

Once kudzu finishes with other plants, will it turn to people for its next meal
