Actually, I just checked, and the forecast has been reduced to just under 100. Still way too hot, but the mental thing about anything over 100 might save my sanity. LOL Is it too soon to be longing for fall? 😬
How are things there. Drying out somewhat? Are the fireflies still rising up at sunset? How about the cicadas? Are they getting noisier? I wonder if they’ll scare off the katydids.
A little reduction is better than none. Gotta take what we can get. LOL
Far from drying out here. It’s drizzled all . day . long and will be wet tomorrow as well. Then the sun comes out for a few days and it’ll be a sauna. Then more rain later next week.
I haven’t sat out on the patio to watch for the lightning bugs. There’s plenty of time for that though. The cicadas were quiet today since it was so wet but they were quite loud yesterday. They’ve never scared off the katydids before and I doubt they will this year. They’re usually winding down by the time the katydids come out anyway.
