I have to agree (though I’m not sure there’s anything he could do except walk away, and that would likely be equally problematic).
It’s not just the rules and the moderators…paid employees of the Biden ruling class will be running the broadcast, running the cameras and microphones, determining the questions, determining even what the response will look like. They will have such complete control that even Biden spends the time drooling into his mic, he will come out easily ahead.
It will definitely be stacked against Trump, but he might be able to turn that into a positive if the bias is too obvious, in the same way that the lawfare campaign has backfired.
If I were Trump and I saw that Biden was wearing and earpiece, I’d call him out on it on live TV and ask him to remove it. I’d also comment about how he seems like a different person (assuming he shows up as Jacked Joe rather than Doddering Joe) from what we normally see. Don’t accuse him of anything, just throw it out there. The implication will be clear. In the likely event that Jacked Joe shows up, that can also work to Trump’s advantage. When Jacked Joe gets challenged, he doesn’t handle it well. Jacked Joe only works if he has a tele-prompter to read and isn’t being challenged or questioned. When MTG interrupted his state of the union, he didn’t handle it well.
