The California won’t let your register, title , or drive a diesel that is older than 2010 unless it has been retrofitted with at least a 2010 engine and emissions control system. Expect the other blue states to do the same thing with not only commercial diesels but all internal combustion vehicles. If it’s older than 20XX it’s no longer legal to drive on State roads only takes a law signed by a states governor or a veto proof majority in the state houses.
