I think one of the motivations for President Trump agreeing to this debate setup and schedule, is to cause the deep-staters to have to rethink any plans they might have had to tell any of their rotten, corrupt judges to send Trump to jail.   That would make them look even worse, if it ending up interfering with an actual, scheduled debate.
