These people are so removed from reality. Coupled with that they are pathological liars.

They're reporting what they know and for people like Fareed Zakaria, the economy is doing great!

You see, Zakarais doesn't shop at Walmart. He doesn't know anyone who shops at Walmart. Zakaria shops at Trader Joe's. He doesn't care if a loaf of artisinal gluten-free bread at TD's costs $12. He's a millionaire so that means nothing to him.

I’d say that’s pretty far removed from reality.

It also doesn’t sound like he’s making any effort to delve into the woes of the normal people.

And again, most lefties in the public eye are pathological liars and sociopaths.

“...shops at Trader Joe’s.”

I’m baffled as to why so many Freepers think Trader Joe’s is some sort of expensive store. It’s a relatively inexpensive grocery store that was purchased by one of the founders of Aldi’s in the late 1970s. They open stores in upscale areas and carry trendy stuff - but they’re still relatively cheap. They also participate in union busting!

I’ll bet somebody is paying for his car, including items that have doubled in price, like oil changes and insurance.
