ROME, Italy — Climate change has brought the world to the “breaking point,” Pope Francis asserted in his introduction to a 3-day climate summit to be held in the Vatican in May.
A firm believer in the climate “crisis,” the pontiff wrote that he has “heartfelt concerns” for “our suffering planet,” contending that “the world in which we live is collapsing” because of humanity’s failure to adequately address the crisis.

The seminal NASA study done by NASA Ames and Stanford University of fossil fuel driven global warming predicted that Green Land would be glacier free by 2015 . In reality, Green Land has more glacier ice now than then. This is despite its the fact that growth in fossils fuel burning totally missed the rise of China and Asia as fossil fuel burners and was a massive under estimate of the actual burning of fossil fuels
We have been warned that we would face an existential climate crisis by 2030. We are half way to that deadline with no discernible climate change
