No it wasnt. Germany wasn’t going to be an issue in 1945. It has always been an alliance against Russian aggression.

If you had served in NATO you would know that our military focus was not in defending against our strongest ally that was shoulder to shoulder with us but against the enemy, that all of us were focused on.
