Uh, consuming a substance you are addicted to...feeds the addiction...especially since in this case, it is not being given at moderate levels. A shot is not a moderate intake of alcohol...it’s a huge burst all at once.

lol. I’ve used the example of “you’d never give an alcoholic free booze” as an example of how addiction isn’t something to be subsidized, against giving out free needles for heroin addicts.
