The 1A’s freedom of speech protects you against government retaliation, and not against an employer’s retaliation.
Nevertheless, you make a VERY valid point from a moral point of view. Fifty years ago it was usually okay to have an opinion contrary to what was politically correct.

Disagree with Climate Change, and you’re cancelled.
Disagree with transexuals playing on a girls’ team, and you’re cancelled.
Disagree with the 2020 election, and you’re cancelled.
On and on it goes. It’s not governmental fascism. It’s societal fascism.

All this government has to do is threaten them, and they will censor anyone the government wants censored.

50 years ago, a public opinion that, say, schools should be segregated by race or women should be deprived of equal rights before the law would have gotten you cancelled just about everywhere. It’s not a new thing.
