Sure you can. Turn off and take all your electronic devices and put them in a metal garbage can, with the lid on top. Keep them there for the next few days, as the solar flares can go on until May 13th. You may need a metal dumpster with lid for larger items like your 85 inch TV.
I am going to put some microwave popcorn out in the yard and see what happens.
Actually, my TV would fit in a trash can. (I don’t do ‘vulgar’ appliances.)
