Exactly so. They would rather lose than get 40% of what they want, when their power to effect events is a one vote margin.

Not exactly, Johnson’s epic betrayal and surrender took most by surprise. He literally took Biden’s treasonous bill and shoved it through the House. Speaking for myself l did not see that coming.

Are you speaking about DC or FR? Because at times, it is hard to tell the difference in this regard.

I would settle for the “good” now and then, but it seems to me most of the Repukes are only too happy to cooperate with their big government Dim buddies on legislation of consequence. All too often they not only refuse to pursue the “perfect,” they don’t even seem to pursue the “good.”
