Ireland, Spain and a number of other EU member states are considering 21 May as the date on which they will jointly recognize the State of Palestine, RTÉ News understands.
Two sources have said that 21 May is being looked at.
A third source said contacts between Dublin and Madrid, as well as between Slovenia and Malta, have been intensifying with a view to the countries jointly recognizing Palestinian statehood. […]
Currently, eight EU member states recognize the State of Palestine, the most recent being Sweden in 2014.
Ireland has been in ongoing discussions with “like-minded” states for a number of months, on the basis that recognition could happen in conjunction with the Arab Peace Plan on a long-term solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. …

Ireland...my ancestral homeland...was once a proud and decent nation. But 40+ years of EU membership has turned it into just another tawdry little European cesspool.
Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon each tried to adopt the “Palestinians.”
After a while, they all tossed them out.
There is a reason for that.
Yeah that was oddly left out of this article
There never was a Nation of Palestine.,. It’s a made up state and people. Reality is hard for the masses to see.
They went from potato famines to brain famines....
The problem with recognizing the Palestinian state is there is no state.
There are some people and some land, but no cohesion and certainly nothing that qualifies as a state.
There will be a Palestinian Protectorate governed by Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE with America consulting. The protectorate will govern for at least ten years.
The entire region has been islamicized. I don’t doubt they would do this.
Have Ireland come under British Martial Law on the same day. Have they gone mad?
They loved Hitler, too.
I doubt that anyone has a problem with a another “State” of terrorists...as long as the land upon which it is formed is NOT inside the borders of Israel...
*Eamon de Valera did absolutely nothing when the Luftwaffe bombed cities on Ireland’s east coast three times in 1941. (The bombs that hit Dublin on 05/31/1941 caused 28 deaths.)*
Interesting. Teachable moment. Perhaps the Irish had other fish to fry. You know the enemy of my enemy.
*Hitler never once considered taking Ireland. Quite the chums they were.* It’s like the Sunni vs. Shia. We should have listened to Senator Biden and formed a Kurdistan.
Oh he did something alright, he signed the Condolence Book at the German embassy after Adolf assumed room temperature.
I don’t know if I pinged you to this
It’s some interesting stuff I think 🤔
October 23, 1983, 06:20 am....220 Marines on a UN “terrorist protection” mission slaughtered and no payback was given.

Watch Ireland become overrun with Palestinian “refugees” as a result. Aren’t the Irish people already under siege by “newcomers” forced on them by the EU?
Left-wing NGOs, who are not working in the interest of Jews.
Where do they recognize the ‘Palestinian State’ to be? Any of the territory they currently hold?
The article mentions the so-called “Arab peace plan” that demands Israel retreat to the 1967 “borders” which are indefensible; that entails giving up all Lebanese territory, the Golan Heights, all of Judea-Samaria (or as the UN calls it, the “West bank”), and East Jerusalem.
