Radio and television host Michael Smerconish will no longer be the commencement speaker at Dickinson College on May 19.
Last month Dickinson’s president's office announced that Michael Smerconish would be this year’s commencement speaker. The offer has now been rescinded after the college’s student-run newspaper wrote an article entitled “The Class of 2024 Deserves Better Than Michael Smerconish.”
The author of the article, t claims that in his book, Smerconish promotes attacks against Arabs and Muslims.

Smerconish is an absolute puke. I watched him transform from a pretty common sense Republican to a leftist stooge who supported Obama. Since that time he is a reliable supporter of every Democrat candidate.
Could not have happened to a nicer prick. He is fair and balanced as a political stooge in an east coast city in NJ/NY/PA fuckery. He is really saying he does not burn bridges because his allies get indited more often than not in PA.

Funny story about him. The radio station that carried him also carried Rush Limbaugh. Circa 2007/2008 he somehow convinced the management of his radio station that his newly found "centrist" position would enable him to take Rush on in the ratings. So the station dropped Rush, moved Smerconish on the afternoon and had Smerconish head to head with Rush from 12-3. That experiment lasted less then 6 months. To compound matters, this "centrist" then endorsed O'Bama for President. Within the year the station dropped Smerconish and picked up Rush and things went back to normal. LOL
