EXCLUSIVE Chinese scientists create mutant Ebola virus to skirt around biosafety rules - and it causes horrific symptoms and kills group of hamsters

Chinese scientists have engineered a virus with parts of Ebola in a lab that killed a group of hamsters.

A team of researchers at Hebei Medical University used a contagious disease of livestock and added a protein found in Ebola, which allows the virus to infect cells and spread throughout the human body.

The group of hamsters that received the lethal injection 'developed severe systemic diseases similar to those observed in human Ebola patients,' including multi-organ failure,' the study shared.

One particularly horrific symptom saw the infected hamsters develop secretions in their eyes, which impaired their vision and scabbed over the surface of the eyeballs

While the experiment may spark fears of another lab leak, the researchers say their goal was to find the right animal models that can safely mimic Ebola symptoms in a lab setting.

A little off topic but Ebola never made it to American shores until obama......Zika either for that matter.....think about that.

Absent modern transportation, Ebola usually burns out in a zone limited to 2 or 3 days walking distance for humans. The advent of cars and aircraft extend its reach over oceans.

What the Chinese are seeking is a disease that will not affect Han Chinese.

Yet they will justify it as being “for science.” Mr Science himself told this. He is really smart because he is science. So we should believe him.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Quarantine the sick. Protect the vulnerable. Hang the guilty. Free everyone else.

Third world cultures don’t value human life* to same degree as the West. Safety is always an afterthought. There were photos on the Wuhan Virus institute’s website which showed more than intended. For example, there was an isolation device with obviously damaged seals. When this was pointed out after the Covid crisis went worldwide they quickly took down the photos. Early on in the very beginning of Covid several top scientists were exposed to the virus and did not isolate. Either they didn’t know they were exposed, or they were just “too important” to follow the rules. Tuns out they were the very first to die, but they’d exposed dozens or hundreds before they died. (Rules and policies are for the little people. Just ask any politician.)

* In China, you don’t even own your own organs. There are videos of people being kidnapped off the streets. Students with rare blood types regularly vanish from school only to have their bodies found in what are most likely staged suicides. A Druze from Lebanon took me to a website in Arabic that advertised organs to order. You’d be genotyped before leaving home and they’d have an organ ready for you the day you arrived. The Druze then took me to Google Earth and showed me the hospital in question. It was adjacent to a prison with a connecting covered corridor. This zero value of human life and total lack of concern for safety go hand-in-hand.

You asked “What could go wrong?”

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. It’s perfectly safe. Enjoy your scabbed over eyeballs.

"I’m waiting to see the angry protestors marching and chanting about ‘Hamsters Lives Matter!!”. Their T-Shirts might confuse the image of a Hamster with the image of a Rat."

Ya, those same people that are freaked out about Noem and her dog are the same people who LOVED fauci in spite of the torturing beagles story. Hamster lives only matter if a republican is doing something. Hypocrites, spit!

“their goal was to find the right animal models that can safely mimic Ebola symptoms in a lab setting.”

We have to! How else can we create pets that can spread a lethal virus to humans? How else can we develop the "vaccine" for ebola/disease X before we spread it?

BTW, anyone remember the random packets of not ordered seeds from chyna that were shipped all over the US a few years back and people were warned not to plant them but they did anyway? (part of the "what could go wrong?" crowd) A new disease showed up in tomatoes that year in various states (it wasn't regional) and 2 years later it was so unstoppable several large grower/friends of greenhouse tomatoes quit the business after total crop loss because there is no good way to deal with it inside. It came into us the second year and UMASS labs reported back to us "unidentified virus". We quit growing greenhouse tomatoes last year. I have read about similar in VA, FL, Nebraska...

It's a good thing these man-made Franken Diseases have zero chance escaping any Chinese Lab and maybe destroying mankind, isn't it?

As they say, "Trust the Science!"

“safely mimic Ebola symptoms in a lab setting”

I think your average theater-major undergrad could do that.
