So, some of the evidence that people handled the documents while in Trump’s possession has been indiscriminately destroyed by the Prosecution reordering the sequence of the documents from the order they were in when they were shipped. Attributing the change in sequence as evidence of Trumpian handling, or more especially of awareness of a given box’s contents, is indeed “evidence which is fake.”

If the integrity of the evidence has been breached, I would think that the evidence has to be thrown out. Why? Because it could have been faked.
