My point is that, once Noem's image starts to sag, the dog who killed a few chickens becomes the dog that kills livestock.
As Dana Perino said last night on The Five, it's not that Noem had to put down a dog causing problems. It's that she made light of it in her book.
Noem laughs about it until she gets some blowback. And now the dog kills "livestock" and threatens children.

Let me add that, if a dog kills a neighbor’s chickens, the first question is, “Why is that dog loose?” That’s on Noem.
