Another whistleblower who publicly spoke out about safety issues with Boeing planes has died, less than two months after fellow whistleblower John Barnett died from a gunshot wound police have yet to finish investigating.
Joshua Dean, a former quality auditor at Boeing supplier Spirit AeroSystems and one of the first to allege wilful ignorance of manufacturing defects on the notorious 737 MAX, died after a "short and sudden illness", the Seattle Times reports.
The 45-year-old was reportedly "known for a healthy lifestyle" but fell ill and was admitted to hospital a little over two weeks ago due to breathing difficulties. He was subsequently diagnosed with pneumonia and a severe bacterial infection known as MRSA.
Despite various treatments, his condition worsened rapidly before it was revealed he had suffered a stroke, and Dean's mother posted on Facebook on April 26 that he was "fighting for his life".
He died Tuesday morning (local time), the Seattle Times quotes his aunt Carol Parsons as confirming. A Spirit spokesperson said: "Our thoughts are with Josh Dean's family. This sudden loss is stunning news here and for his loved ones."

Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Thrice is enemy action.
Sounds like the Clintons are running Boeing these days.
I keep returning to the idea that these people are foxes, not lions.
And sneaky manipulation is more their style, rather than overt murder.
But who knows, at this point.
So who exactly do you think “murdered” this guy or had someone else “murder” him? The CEO? CFO? Exactly who - and please name names with unassailable evidence. Otherwise, this thread is just another nutty conspiracy discussion.
Two suspicious deaths of whistleblowers...
itS A cOnSpirAcy Theory !
Half the murders for hire are for oddball trivial amounts, like 3,700 bucks, or 10k and a snowmobile. And they are to avoid child support, or to avoid losing half of a 300k house with a mortgage in a divorce.
But people cannot imagine a company with 77.79 billion revenue would rub a threatening someone out. Just unthinkable. /s
the demand for ‘unassailable evidence’ post in a discussion forum means you lost the argument before you participated.
but you might just be a disrupter. we have those now, so it has to be considered.
There ARE NO COINCIDENCES!!!!
Right. Unthinkable.
The MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX along with the 3 letter agencies MURDERED these two BANK ON IT!!!! SPIT….on your damn conspiracy theories!! You need to get your idiotic head out of your butt!!!
You have asserted the two most extreme positions possible as the only possible realities. Now that is nutty!
Denigrating analysis as ‘conspiracy theory BS’ is the same as ad hominem, and suggesting that Boeing executives would be so brazenly culpable is rather narrowminded, so here’s a snapshot into motivation for elimination of ‘problems’ for Boeing:

Regardless whether it’s proven they were murdered, their deaths send a powerful message.
Besides: Cite a single other case where multiple whistleblowers have died within weeks of each other.
The odds are astronomical for being mere coincidence.
But Ok: Then Oswald WAS the lone gunman by your standard. /s
Song sung by would be whistleblowers.

Well, it’s twice now, so the next time, we’ll know for sure, that it’s enemy action. 😀
The whole idea behind killing two whistle-blowers is to prevent a third one.
I am sure that’s true, but maybe the whistleblowers will just go anonymous. 😃
No connection to John Barnett "suicide". Just a "coincidence"./sarc

The filming of The Exorcist had nine related deaths. Also....
“The production manager called me at 4 a.m. and said, ‘Don’t bother to come to work today,’” Friedkin remembered at the talk. “I said, ‘Why? Am I fired?’”
The production manager told him, “No, but the set has just burned to the ground.”
Not the whole set, though. The majority of the home was built separate from Regan’s bedroom where the exorcism takes place. Chillingly, the house was no more — but the site of the horrifying religious ritual survived. A pigeon flew into a light box overnight and caused the fire.

While no accidents during filming of “The Exorcist” were fatal, people involved or associated with the production died during it.
Actor Jack MacGowan died shortly after appearing in the movie as film director Burke Dennings, one of the characters killed by a demon-possessed Regan. Only 54 years old, MacGowan died of complications from the flu.
The assistant cameraman’s wife had a baby during the shoot — the baby died. The man who refrigerated the set died. The young night watchman died.
Vasiliki Maliaros, who played the mother of Father Karras passed away during production at age 89.
The final total of deaths was nine.
Joe Hyams, the film’s publicist said he was unnerved. “These weren’t casualties from stunts or things like that. These were men standing behind the camera and all of a sudden dropping dead,” he said.
Others on the set suffered lifelong injuries. A crew member lost his toe, while a carpenter chopped off his thumb. Ellen Byrstyn sustained a lifelong spine injury from one of the times she was pulled by wires to be hurled across the bedroom.
Linda Blair shared that she fractured her lower back while convulsing in a harness, leading to a lifelong struggle with scoliosis. She was screaming, “Please, make it stop. It hurts. It burns!” but the director liked the emotions and kept filming for the scene. “That’s the footage they used in the movie, where I’m crying my eyes out because they are brutally damaging my back,” Blair said.
