Across the world people have been shocked by social media footage of heavily armed law enforcement officers arresting peacefully protesting students and professors at university campuses around the United States. The so-called “land of the free and home of the brave” looks neither free nor brave – except for the brave protesters who continue to stand up to state and university repression.

I heard on Fox this morning that half the student body at Columbia were foreign nationals. Everyone of them who engaged in the protest should have their student visas revoked and returned to their home of record. To obtain a student visa you must have a non-refundable return ticket.
Illustrates perfectly the left wing view of the world, namely, whatever we do is legal, whatever you do is illegal.
We protest, advocate violence against an ethnic group, refuse to obey law enforcement, etc.-that is freedom of expression and you actions to halt us is, wait for it, a threat to “our democracy.”

I’m sure the folks at The Guardian would welcome conservative protesters who stormed their offices, set up tents, and refused to leave. There is no way that The Guardian staff would call in the police. /s
