Hillary Clinton is the latest Democrat to troll South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) after she detailed in a forthcoming book how she shot her dog.
“Still true,” Clinton wrote Monday on the social platform X above a 2021 post that read, “Don’t vote for anyone you wouldn’t trust with your dog.”
Noem, who has been discussed as a possible running mate for former President Trump, has come under fire in recent days after The Guardian reported on an excerpt from her book that detailed how she shot “Cricket,” her nearly 14-month-old dog.
Noem shot the wirehaired pointer in a gravel ditch on her property after taking it pheasant hunting. She said in the book that she “hated” the dog, saying it was also responsible for attacking a neighbor’s chickens and trying to bite her.

Many people live in bubbles (virtually all of the left lives in a liberal bubble). It's obvious Noem and her advisers live in a "rural bubble".
She actually thought this story would be a plus, and in her rural bubble, maybe it is.
But it's not a plus outside her bubble.
Only 1 in 3 Americans own a gun.
Only 1 in 5 Americans live in rural areas.
In other words: For 80% of Americans, the idea of taking their dog out to a gravel pit and shooting it is not even on their mental radar--they literally couldn't imagine themselves doing that.
This is a story 80% of Americans can't relate to.
That's why Noem lives in a bubble. She looked at a story that 80% of Americans can't relate to and said: Sure, that'll be a story everyone can relate to.

I think it was politically crazy to put it into her book with how the current populous is, but I respect her for doing a tough job herself.
“Democrats pounce!” They clearly care more about dogs than they do babies. As one is A-OK to kill, but the other causes nationwide uproar.
