Yes. The counter protestors are slowly dismantling the barricades and stripped the Hamas people’s plywood one by one. Soon the Hamas people will have no barriers. They will be left wide open. Either the counter protesters can go in, or the police will have an open field to rush into.
Too early to tell but it’s possible the counter protesters have the tactical advantage. If these are Israeli expats they likely have military experience and, speculating here, maybe even some intel and tactical advice. Break up the Hamas encampment or at least their barricades. After which many from both sides may head home when the police do get it together and show up. The police will make some arrests and disburse all the protesters… which would be, speculating again, the goal of the counter protesters. To see the Hamas encampment disbanded “by any means”.
One of the Hamas supporters just got too far out front and was dragged into the Pro-Israeli crowd and beaten pretty severely.
