Hi Dolly!

Natalie and I did the containers, but she works so quickly, and I putz along like an old donkey, so she always accomplishes more. It’s not by design lol, honest. I always do bright colors - each container has 2 big red geraniums, 2 yellow million bells, 2 orange sun impatiens, and about 6 each of bright purple and white petunias. I put a solar light (the ones you’d line a sidewalk with) in the middle - they’re looking quite full and bright already. I expect they’ll be quite full and colorful soon.

Was at Costco yesterday and used my app, “Picture this” and something I had not noticed before on the app.

Besides telling me what kind of plant it is and how to care for them it told me which plants were healthy to buy.

Amazing.

Okay back outside to get the banana plants. The other bigger plants and tomatoes won’t get til next week

Also have quite a few solar lights that I got this winter from Amazon. Some different kinds. Right now they’re all on the front deck just in various containers they’ll eventually be spread out once I finish everything

There is a small expanse of grass that’s going to be transformed and more pots on it and the other shrubs and bushes at the perimeter.

I’ll be laying a layer of cardboard and then another layer of cardboard some wood chips from a tree trunk or tree root for the next layer and then colored mulch on top

it’s going to be a hefty project enen though the area is not terribly big
