Oh dear. They’re dropping like flies. Except for Keith Richards.
After you pass 80, it seems you lose your friends (even the ones you never met) faster with every passing day.
Stopped going to HS reunions years ago. Only people I remember from those days it seems are friends who've passed away.
Family then becomes the only people you keep close around you.
Especially those little ones who only know you with Love and call you "Gramps"....or just look at you with that thought in their mind.
rain tax. don’t they feel foolish even discussing these things!
is the farm pretty big?
oh, how is Audrey’s nursery doing?
new friends, lol!!
I love old pretty bottles. What would you do with them though? I can never think of a use.
Hi Spunky....
I really have heard for years that it was the masks. I’ve read it here and there, and of course never thought of saving articles, as it didn’t mean anything to me - it was long before covid.
I didn’t even know it was a meme at the start of this discussion....no, I don’t take memes terribly seriously. I think most of them are merely expressing opinion, with humor, so not actually considered a source of information. I realized that awhile ago when I thought for a moment a meme posted was the truth....then I realized that they’re not to be taken seriously.
Having said that, I have seen the blatant lies coming out of many “official” sources of information. The CDC, NIH, and any number of government agencies.....we’ve been lied to about covid right from the start. Who knows when we’re actually being told the truth? That’s why I’m more apt to believe what I’ve read for years, pre-covid, rather than anything being put out today as truth.
As an example, I read over and over for the past 40 years how there is absolutely zero connection between the rate of autism and vaccines. All of the “experts” told us so. Well, then Sharyl Attkisson (not sure of the spelling) did some research a few years ago and exposed something different. A Dr. Zimmerman (who had done some of the research connecting childhood vaccines to autism) admitted that he had been paid off to keep his findings quiet. I would imagine the report from Sharyl is still available, but I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see it scrubbed from the internet. They scrub what they don’t want us seeing.....who knows what to believe any more?
So, there is no official “cut off date” for believing articles....they’ve been lying for years. I weigh things out and try and decide who is telling the truth and who isn’t. Who has something to gain and who has something to lose. Heck, up here they’re still telling us these covid shots and boosters are safe! Should I believe them?
My thinking is this.....most of the doctors are still telling us the jabs are safe and effective. Some doctors are saying otherwise, but not many. Do I listen to the ones who are making money and not ruffling feathers by going along, or would I decide that the guy who is ridiculed, possibly loses his position, loses money and pays a big price for telling me the shots are dangerous? I weigh it out and decide for myself.
It’s a tough world out there.....so hard to know who to believe and who to trust. All I was saying is that I tend to believe what makes the most sense to me at the time. Could I be wrong? Absolutely! I often am!
Hi CB....
The farm is only about 80 acres, but the land that Matt does crop sharing (belongs to his father) is an additional 600 acres or so....I don’t know if this will go through or affect them at all. The water just runs off into the ditches around the land, and goes into the ground. I don’t think it enters any sewer system at any time, but who knows what they will concoct to find a way to charge them lol!?
Audrey buried her two little bunnies this morning. They were just too young and didn’t make it. She was pretty sad, but she’ll get over it and find another critter to rescue soon. She specializes in birds lol. Always finding a lost bird. She rescued a baby oriole last year from falling out of the nest and the cat nearly killing it. It would sleep on her forehead every night lol.
Hi Ms.B. We had a bright and sunny day here today, for a change. We’ve sure had our share of gloomy, overcast, cold and wet. So much tree planting and gardening go on here - the property is looking so nice. Natalie has such a touch for gardens and landscaping....she should be in business rather than just helping people and advising them for free lol.
She planted some more white birch, purple magnolia, flowering dogwood, and a few other small trees today, along with another load of perennials. She also bought a nice purple wisteria, which I used to call listeria lol. Quite the difference!
In any case, the trees are turning green and it’s a beautiful thing to see!
Only 80 acres, sounds like a lot...but not compared to 600. The tract I trespass on is 65 acres so I can use that as a reference. Although it us hilly, which actually gets you less land because each hill counts as its surface area, not as the crow flies.
Did the baby Oriele make it?
I wonder if she’d want to be a vet
The baby oriole didn’t make it. Well, it did, then it didn’t. He was doing very well for about 3 months. So well, that he needed more space, so Natalie found a very pretty antique white bird cage which gave him so much room and looked so pretty in Audrey’s room. They got the cage all set up and were so happy with it. The poor bird died that night. After researching, they learned that a move to a different setting can be too much for the bird and kill it. Well, who would have thought that? They thought the bird would love it, but I guess he was happy in his little make-shift cage all along.
Lol maybe not vet material.....everything seems to croak!
I bet CB and Dolly would have a ball in this place!
I went to it years ago, but it’s been a long time.
It’s on Face book:

Thus is the kind of place where you might find some unexpected treasures!
It’s a great way to spend a rainy/gloomy afternoon.
I’m thinking Sunday might be a good day!
Anyway, enjoy the pics!

Irena’s Vow is a 2023 film dramatizing the World War II heroism of a young Polish nursing student, Irena Gut. Irena’s Vow is a two-hour, color film. It was shot in Poland. The film is in English.
It received a limited US release in April, 2024. Irena’s Vow has an 86% professional reviewer rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 93% fan reviewer rating. Veteran reviewer Rex Reed calls Irena’s Vow “One of the most astounding holocaust stories.” He says, “It’s true, if fantastic.”
The film is “anchored by the powerful, heartfelt performance of Sophie Nelisse as an innocent girl whose integrity and resolve turns her into a woman of maturity and strength.” Roman Haller, a Holocaust survivor, says, “It is a very great film. I expected a good film, but it is even more than I expected. … I saw my mother. I saw my father. I saw Irena … She was like a mother to me … I want to tell you there were people like that

Hi Dolly!
Missed you by a few minutes!
Another example of an expert I would not believe. Here he is, telling the world that there is no evidence at all about blood clots being associated with the jab.
So, do I believe him, or do I believe the barrage of reports I’ve seen saying the exact opposite, including the many embalmers who report the sudden and never-before-seen presence of the various obstructions they’re pulling from the deceased?
Sometimes you just know when someone is full of bull....and if the report is from a medical group, I usually am skeptical.
