Actually, I was thinking that half the students protesting are doing it because they are hoping exams will be canceled.
Good point. If I were a president at a college having issues removing these camps, usually in blue cities, I would hold finals as scheduled and ensure they are graded/recorded as in the original syllabus. You know lefty profs. would dry to drop the requirement.
Then, cite the ongoing protests and cancel commencement, ans simply just mail the diploma, by itself, no holder, to the home address on file. They want the chance to put a Palestine flag in their cap, cause chaos, etc. and get it live streamed, etc. Don’t give them the chance.
