F1’s Miami race sends cease and desist letter to Trump hoping to host fundraiser at the event

The Miami Grand Prix sent a cease and desist letter to a prominent fundraiser of former President Donald Trump after he planned to use a suite for a fundraiser event.

The Formula One race sent the letter to Steven Witkoff, a close Trump ally, who had rented a suite at the race for fundraising purposes, multiple people familiar with the matter told the Washington Post.

The suite rented by Witkoff said in its terms that it cannot be used for “advertising, promotional or commercial purposes.

Every suite is being used to advertise and promote. Most of which is are the companies that paid big $$ to smooze clients and prop up their names.

Total bullshit.

F1 was purchased by Liberty Media not that long ago. This is John Malone of TCI(became part of Sprint)-a former Ma Bell, General Instruments guy that went fr telecom to dot com, to owning Sirius, live Nation etc...these days.

Obv the intent was to increase the American market.

They brought racing back to our country.

Unf it is actually run by the arabs and Ferrari.

Thus far they have blocked Andretti/GM from joining.

The Vegas race included blocking views from parts of the strip via tarps.

Add in the denying of fund raising here and they can go back to being an uncompetitive boat racing pageant on the rest of the globe.
