Stolen SUV? Then all bets are off. It might sound harsh, but the old saying applies. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I will however modify the above a little bit. Perhaps one of the passengers was an unwilling participant. If so, his blood is on the hands of the driver.

I am fine with them having taken their own lives, over the lives of anyone else.

I am not. The owner of the SUV will be given a lowball offer by his insurance and will need to spend weeks finding another one, if he can even get one for the settlement amount.

1. The parents of the "teens" need to be liable for the difference in insurance payout and a new vehicle for the owner.

2. If they want to die they can just light themselves on fire...

Similar crash with loss of 4, occured just a couple days ago, outside Philadelphia, PA.

I suspect that high speed chase events - recorded/played by/from the vehicle - are being broadcast over Tik-Tok or some such social media, as a contest.
